First launch & runtime download
The first time you open AgentRidge it runs a short guided setup. Most of it is quick; the one part that takes a little time is the one-time runtime download that provisions the local engine.
The setup sequence

The runtime download
To keep the app itself small, AgentRidge downloads its runtime modules on first launch and stores them locally. You'll see live progress — the current module, percentage, transfer speed, and an estimated time remaining.
- Verified. Each module is integrity-checked after download before it is installed, so a corrupted or interrupted transfer is re-fetched rather than used.
- Resumable. If a download is interrupted, AgentRidge can resume where it left off instead of starting over.
- One time. Once installed, the runtime is reused for every mission. It is not re-downloaded for each engagement, and app updates don't re-fetch it (see Updates).
How much is downloaded?
The download size depends on your plan:

Plan for about 25 GB of free disk for comfortable headroom on Pro. See system requirements.
The larger Pro runtime can take a while on a slow connection. You can leave the setup screen open; progress and ETA update live, and the download resumes if your connection drops.
After setup
When the runtime is ready you land in Mission Control, where you can launch your first mission. If you started on the free trial, you can upgrade to Pro at any time to unlock Attacker mode, LAN discovery, detailed audits, and the full runtime.
