Data locations

AgentRidge stores its local runtime and your engagement data in a per-user application data directory. Because the app is local-first, this is where your findings and reports live until you choose to share them.

Where the data lives

PlatformData directory
macOS~/Library/Application Support/AgentRidge
Windows%APPDATA%\AgentRidge (e.g. C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Roaming\AgentRidge)
Linux~/.config/AgentRidge

This directory holds:

  • the local runtime modules (the reasoning engine and its supporting packs),
  • engagement data and the agent's local memory,
  • findings and evidence,
  • generated PDF reports.

Keeping vs. removing it

  • Uninstalling the app keeps this data by default, so a reinstall doesn't have to re-download the multi-gigabyte runtime.
  • To reclaim disk space or fully reset, remove the data directory for your platform above.
Back up first

The data directory contains your engagement history, findings, and reports. If you plan to delete it, copy anything you want to keep first.

Disk footprint

The runtime is the largest item. On the free trial it's a few hundred MB; on Pro it can reach roughly 20 GB with the full library. Plan for about 25 GB free. See System requirements.
